Reverse Heist — Tate Modern

Tate Modern, 2022. Criatura hung an unauthorized Tenta canvas — a pink and green tentacle captioned 'This has no meaning' — directly on the museum wall, complete with a printed institutional label beneath it.

Visitors read the label, tilted their heads, and moved on. The wall did the rest of the work.

One of the earliest Reverse Heists, staged inside the most gatekept museum in London.
